Knee block vs low kicks (opposite stance)

If you follow my work you know that I do not recommend inside low kicks against an opponent in an opposite stance as it is easy to see them coming and use the knee to block them. Keep in mind this move cost Anderson Silva a broken shin:

Jones kind of faked a jab (not an adequate fake, in my opinion) and then went for an inside low kick from a southpaw stance using the back foot. As I mentioned above an experienced kicker can see this coming a mile away and it is easy to block with the knee. Jones probably hurt his shin in on Rampage’s knee.

That being said, these are powerful low kicks due to the generated momentum and should not be understimated.
